Meet the Máťuš winery from Rača

Miloš Máťuš and his wife continue the winemaking tradition in the historic Rača, where the legendary Račianska Frankovka comes from, which also facilitated the Austro-Hungarian Queen Maria Theresa herself. In this tasting, you will taste 4 wine samples in the tasting and sales room of the Máťuš Winery. You will taste the traditional varieties that the winery focuses on and which the Rača districts like: Riesling Rhine, Veltinské zelené, Frankovka modrá rosé and Frankovka modrá z Rače. The tasting is introductory, more concise, but you will taste the wines. The tasting lasts approx. 40 minutes. You can have a drink in your room when you like it and buy it. The winery is easily accessible from Bratislava city center by tram, it runs every 10-15 minutes.

Be aware the wine tasting is guided in Slovak language as the wine maker does not speak English very well.
